Welcome to the board. Counldnt disagree more that he should deciide if and when he wants to go. Bobby Bowden accomplished even more than Coach Moore and got similar treatment. And FSU is better off for it. Love Coach Moore to death. I will never forget my recruiting trip getting to me him and sit in he and then OL Coach Elliot's offices. It was like sitting in front of a living legend but all good things must come to an end.

well..as many of you would find it hard to believe, im not on one side more than the other. but why was this done early on a sunday morning? why not let the dust settle so to speak? if coach new...he obviously wasnt saying anything and was supposedly going to nyc that day. why the early morning rush? just a simple question which would like a simple reply without saying i, along with others need to let it go. there's nothing i can do anyhow but i'm naturally curious...im a gemini.

I'm not an expert on the time line, but I think it was said on early Sunday morning because Coach Moore had already starting talking about "next year" to the media immediately after game on Saturday night. Cobb felt he had to get this out there to counteract what Coach Moore had started saying.

There has been so much said, by so many people, that anyone should feel free to cite sources to either support or refute what I just said.

Honestly she has. NC State Basketball was a farce under Sydney Lowe and Mark Gottfried might not be living up to the preseason hype (NCSU was preseason number 6 or so) but he at least has them back on the map. They went to the sweet 16 last year. Firing O'Brien was the right choice. She knew he could never keep pace with UNC's great hire of Larry Fedora.

Criticize all you want, but I don't understand why you want to bash Yow, who has done a good job with a perennial joke in the ACC.

Help me here. Charlie Cobb was hired in 2008, after JM had won the titles, beaten Michigan and ran the big Bulldozer that leveled the ground for the Athletics Center? No, wait. Cobb came in 2005, after the highly successful career of Roachel Laney. Moore was sooooooo successful under Laney and Borkowski that we've sucked ever since they came on board.
