Looking forward to this week's game. It's about time we have decent weather for a home game this year. Will be a big test to see how much we have improved. I'm expecting a tight game. A tight game likely favors ULM though due to their advantage in the kicking game and our struggles in close games.

More like our fans don't buy tickets to see a 3-5 App team play a 3-5 team many have never heard of.
Ask Wake Forest if they've heard of them.
Nice win for them, but beating Wake doesn't exactly create a national sensation. Or even a regional one.
No, but since when did our fans require a national sensation opponent at the Rock to buy tickets! I believe our attendance records were set against mostly small FCS teams. As for ULM, sweeping an ACC school in consecutive years is pretty impressive, even if it is Wake. It's just going to take a little time to get used to the change. Our first bowl game should really win a lot of folks over, but until then, we all need to keep supporting the team with our $ and attendance.

The attendance records were set when App was winning big.

Like you, I agree that we should support the team. I am looking forward to today's game. I'm just pointing out that it's not hard to explain why attendance is down a bit this year.

OMG! I got absolutely trashed for saying just that on the Wake schedule thread! Be careful!
