We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

I don't know how things will go but I see Loggains has cleaned out the recruiting staff, which was needed. Just looking on the outside this is the type of hire you want. Someone either moving up a level or that is a recruiting assistant at a P4 who is taking a pay bump and promotion to come here. We want people moving up the ladder and not down it in terms of pay and title.
I will be interested to see what change Loggains makes with football operations. People overlook that title but he needs to get one of his type people in that role. We had a good ole boys network before and Loggains is cleaning it out to get fresh blood in here.
Welcome to Boone, Andrew!

Just saw on footballscoop.com that GM Thomas Guerry is not returning to the program. A little shocking as he seemed to do a great job for us, and really held the class together during the coaching change. DLO sang his praises a few times.
Anybody got the scoop?
GO APPS!!
Should be another good hire soon if everything goes as planned. He’s been top in line for a while, just in the due diligence period. Should join before the end of spring ball. Not far from the Martinez hire if you get my drift, but Experienced which is what we need in the GM position.

Lily King. Great resume.
It is indeed. Loggains still has a couple more spots I would like to see him clean out but what he has so far looks good. Hopefully this staff works hard and puts in the effort that we need to get back to the top of the Sun Belt.

Joe Dailey apparently
Timing is ideal but..
DLO has a vision and a standard. If somebody on staff isn’t meeting that standard and/or doesn’t share that vision…I’d rather he get rid of them sooner rather than later.

Just saw something that had Kevin Higgins taking the job. Good hire if true.

New LB commit from Lenoir-Rhyne. Should be an immediate upgrade over Arnholt.

DL, LB, CB, WR will be the priority this spring portal season, I’m told. In that order as well. There will always be room for OL as well if they come available and fit. There will likely be turnover in these rooms as well after going through spring camp and realizing talent gaps from the previous regime.

Don't like wishy-washy people. Glad he moved quick and decisively.

Major talent gaps. We had the wrong player on the field in some cases and in some cases it sounded like we have some more Seth Williams, Coen Sutton, Kevon Haigler, Luke Smith types who really need to be in FCS.

I am as well. We just don’t have the size and bodies to run an effective 4 man front yet. There will still be a significant amount of “STAR” packages this season. Lack of identity, vision and fundamentals on that side of the ball from the past.

Smith had a good year and maybe could have but to be fair the SoCon is not what it once was so I am 50/50 on that but you could be right. Now if you want to name a slam dunk player that could have been an upgrade if he stayed was Mike Smith. He might get drafted out of EKU this month. Worst case he will sign a contract and stick on a practice squad.

Every coach has their list of “non-negotiables”. The issue in this new era is actually finding players (and coaches) that follow through on these things. Some will negotiate on these things when their backs are against the wall.
