The only thing more embarrassing than this performance would've been losing. So settling for second most embarrassing is OK.

Agree with you here. He's been a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing season. He's good enough to have us in the mix for the top of the East, but coaching and defense hasn't helped him any at all.

Southern Miss obviously has no defense based on today and in several other games. They have racked up some points in some other games. They lost 17-13 to ODU. They really aren't good but our run defense is putrid and as Avery said several times we give WAY TOO MUCH cushion on passes. We are in 3rd and 9 and allow 8-10 yards. All the receiver has to do is stretch for a yard.

Glad to come out with a win here but should never have been this close. Whatever a team sucks at, they become a national championship contender when they play us.

Our offense is really good.

Defense is our biggest weakness. Just can’t make plays when they are truly needed.

The one thing that doesn't need to happen is a QB change. Joey makes a dumb decision a few times a game but he also drops dimes

I'm very happy we won. But yeah... I guess we'll see. I hope we continue to win, but I feel every game will be a life or death struggle. I so hope I'm very very wrong. Good job holding on.

We took a knee so we did not need to worry about a run back for 2 points and then have to worry about a TD and 2 point conversion to tie the game.
