If I can scrape up the ticket price, I will certainly consider that avenue.
Thanks, App91.

All I can say is that my dream of taking a train ride to an App State home football game may get to come true. #Amtrak
This is my very generic signature added to each post.

I dont think that is a big draw for a P5 player but i would have to think that would turn some heads for our level of G5?
Good question, and I don't think anyone knows yet. I think it will be a nice perk and I'm sure our coaches will use it in their pitch. My guess is it will be more of an appeal the closer we get to that game. Also have to think we'll try to get CLT recruits to come to the game itself, especially since it's considered a home game.

As a home game we get to invite recruits, which is great. During the Miami game we could only invite a limited number, a game at BOA and we can probably draw hundreds of kids from the Charlotte area and not have to turn anybody away

Tip. For those who feel they can't afford to go to a game on what will be one of our biggest stages four years from now. Stash away five modest bucks a week in a coffee can. starting. Now. You will have enough cash by the time we play in CLT to buy premium tickets for you and your guest of choice, premium parking, tailgate with the champagne of beers, eat at Sullivan's Steak house and stay at the Westin. $5 a week. 71 cents/day.

We had over 150 recruits at the Miami game.

The train from Raleigh will almost assuredly be my mode of transportation from Raleigh. Have done it a few times and it is definitely the way to go.

The second line out to UNCc will be done by the time we have our home game at their place in two seasons.

Firemoose can correct me if I'm wrong, but i don't think recruits are allowed at neutral site games. I know that used to be the case.

I guess anything is possible.
It should be a fun series. And I'm sure there will be plenty is smack talk as we get closer to the games. Thanks for your fandom Eric! I appreciate you, even if I'm not sold on your alma mater.
I had to get away from the foothills for a while. I hope you understand.
That said, lets hope the administrations cancelled the SSU and JMU game's to get this series going in 2017.

Is there actually a train directly to campus? Living in High Point within a reasonable uber ride to either High Point or Greensboro Amtrack makes pre-game that much easier.

He's talking about the Blue Line extension of the Light Rail for the city of Charlotte. It will go from South Charlotte thru Uptown and up to UNCC's campus by the end of this year.

Yeah that's the new line.
I think they're opening it to the NoDa stop very soon. That's according to an Uber driver I had whose husband apparently works on the project.

So Uber to downtown Greensboro or High Point; train to uptown Charlotte; uber to lite rail; lite rail to UNCC. Hopefully I can catch the NYC train with the bar like I did for the Panthers and Patriots Monday night game a few years ago.

This game is definitely going to have a "bowl game" feel to it. Should be fun for the players and that team will also get to travel to Miami that season.

I'm assuming buying season tickets in '21 will be for 7 home games. ECU in Charlotte and 6 in Boone.
