I pulled Rush's email off the net and sent him part of an article predicting a Sun Belt Championship and how well Taylor Lamb(and the whole team) were expected to play next year. I also pointed out what a successful season we had this year. Be interesting to see if I get a response.

Yeah, I don't think there is any reason to be concerned about anything Rush says. If you took all the $hi+ and hot air out of him, you could bury his fat @$$ in a shoebox.

I don't think this would fall into the publicity category.... I imagine zero future Mountaineers heard about this or ever will...

Appalachian is a household name due to our ability to be successful despite being a small program. While Rush was not complimenting us, the fact that we were mentioned on a show like his is a testament to where our brand stands amongst the P5 powerhouses. If he had used North Dakota State to make a point it would not have resonated with the masses. That is the compliment.
