The logistics information on AppStateSports.com says tailgating is free. Is the $20 for them to hold us a spot?

I saw that too. I think someone typoed that.. From talking to the girl in charge of the lot and looking at the map, it's a pay lot. I reserved my spot a few days ago.

Wife and I flying into Atl from Denver saturday morning then driving straight over to Lot E to tailgate. Still waiting on my email confirmation on the lot E. But seems like its just a fornaility at this point.

Plane tickets 600, car rental 100, hotel room 100, 50 for tickets. Watching the mountaineers rock the Bobcats in its first FBS bowl game........PRICELESS!!!!!!

The tailgate Lot E is being operated by a charity. And $20 is a deal.

Got my confirmation yesterday afternoon. And I'd definitely rather pay $20 for a reserved tailgating spot right by the stadium than have to scramble to get a good free spot Saturday morning. Takes the guess-work out, and it was the last domino to fall to have a fully planned-out bowl experience. Now all that's left is to get even more stoked.

Got my reserved spot for Lot E! Leaving Lenoir about 6:00 am Saturday so many of you will be quite jolly by the time I pull in! Its ok. I'll catch up! :D

Waiting on an email response from them. I don't think there is any restriction but I noticed something about no pop up tents in the RV lot. I want to be sure, as you said no need to haul everything if we can't use it.

A reservation gets you two parking spaces - one to park in and one to tailgate on. I am sure anything goes!

Seriously? If that's the case, there may be no need for my group of 4 cars to need 4 spaces.
