We owe South Alabama. I don't view this as a trap game. They came here last year and punched us in the nose. They were way more physical than us and I think it left a very sour taste in our mouth. We owe them a big one. Time for payback.

I don't get the sense this will be a trap game. This group of players, strike me as focused on wanting to achieve a 10 win regular season.

Hmmm GaSo, and GaSt held them to less than 20 points, but they managed to hang 32 on LaLa and 52 on Idaho. . .they're a passing offense so could expose weakness in our secondary, but their lack of a run game could be an indication that our front 7 will be able to pressure a QB that's completing only 52% of his passes.

I don't think I've ever been more depressed than walking out of The Rock after last years curb stomping by USA. They were much more physical than I expected and App appeared too weak to compete in the Sunbelt.....then the turnaround happened the following week.

USA needs this game for a bowl invite so they will not be laying down. That said, App's defense has found their mojo the last two games and this time it will be the App's providing the more physical play. It won't be easy on the road but these Apps are now on a mission.

I heard their starting QB was injured during the 3rd quarter last week, not sure of current status though.
