Something I'll never see again, at 5-8 and 190 lbs I'd love to lose about 15 pounds. However, not going to happen. I'm too old and lift too many 12 ounce weights.Old Wideout wrote:I'd say he's 5-7, 5-9 175 lbs currently.

Re: Media Day
Another interesting little tidbit was that when DJ asked Watts about lesser-known receivers who might be ready to make an impact, he quickly mentioned Jaquil Capel. I remember Stepp saying last year that Capel was a year away from being ready to see the field. Maybe he was right.

Re: Media Day
Just curious but did anyone see any coverage on any of the Charlotte TV stations last night? I watched both WSOC and WBTV. Nothing at either 6 or 11. And I just checked the websites for WCCB and WCNC with no results. In fact I thought it pretty funny that on WCNC's site they have a College tab, which after you click on it has a drop down menu on the page that has Duke FB-MBB-WBB, UNCC FB-MBB-WBB, NC State FB-MBB-WBB, UNCG MBB-WBB, UNCW MBB-WBB, and then generic College FB-MBB-WBB links (and BTW nothing about App under the generic College FB link). Last time I checked UNCG and UNCW weren't exactly in the Charlotte viewing area. Also didn't see anything in the Observer but I could have missed it.
I know we had TV stations, which ran stories last night, and papers from the Triad, Tri-Cities, and Asheville region here, plus others. Pretty sad but not really unexpected that we have little to no coverage in the media market we're in and good coverage from markets we're not. I will say that WBTV did have about 20 seconds the day we started camp but we were earlier than others and the only other sports was Panthers camp that day. But doesn't seem like anyone was here for the actual Media Day.

I saw highlights from practice and an interview with Satt on WCNC Wednesday night, IIRC.

Re: Media Day
Yeah, that's kind of like what WBTV did Tuesday. Sounds like they did a bit more then the couple of shots and a quick bite from Satt that Ch 3 did. Just wondered if anyone showed for the actual Media Day.ASUMountaineer wrote:I saw highlights from practice and an interview with Satt on WCNC Wednesday night, IIRC.
