Tom Brady - 6th round draft pick.
He did ok didn’t he?
He did great and sometimes you get a round 6-7 pick who makes his team so that is why I said it was 50/50. For every player that pans out in those rounds there are 20-25 taken in those rounds who don't even pan out, let alone make the team who picked them.

One thing to keep an eye on for Brice is whether or not he goes to the NFL Combine. Usually there is only 1 combine snub QB picked in the draft so the odds are lower if they are not invited. It is also not a guarantee to get picked if they go to the combine either but still the odds are better.

Chase is getting huge exposure after lighting up UNC and a solid A&M performance. I’m happy for the guy, he is a Mountaineer. He even made Jason Isbell’s Twitter, quite an honor indeed!!

Brice will be in Tier 2 by end of the season. I guarantee it.

A lot of good QB performances so far but his intangibles and improvements from last year have made him someone who could end up being a draft pick for sure. his last 3 weeks have certainly shown grit, guts, leadership, and all the intangibles you want in a developmental QB.

Chase had an NFL arm on the Hail Mary. Guy has what it takes IMO

Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if McCall isn’t able to play versus us. Especially all the conference teams that’ll want to kill him in the next few weeks.
Having had a chance to watch McCall play some this season, he does not look like the QB we've seen in the past few years.

Over the past few seasons, I have marveled at the abuse McCall has taken and Chadwell still keeps him in games. In one game, the poor kid was clearly concussed and was throwing up in a trashcan on the sideline, then heading back into the huddle like nothing happened. This isn't toughness; it's madness.

Now he's in a situation where his future will be impacted by his health and performance. He isn't healthy and his performance has diminished. Not good.

Simply put, Chadwell has ruined McCalls career. Chadwell only cares about himself. The surgery McCall had in the off season is a much longer recovery. I understand technology and sports medicine has improved greatly in the past couple years, but there's absolutely no way he's fully recovered.

It would be akin to a WR/RB tearing his ACL and running routes and taking hits in under 3 months.
It reminds me of Steve Spurrier ruining Marcus Lattimore’s career. They’re eerily similar. Lattimore was one of the best college RB’s I’d ever watched.

I was thinking the same thing. If he does not improve this year I wonder if he comes back for another year or just has another surgery and takes his chances in the NFL? It would be interesting if Chadwell take a P5 job to see what Grayson decides to do.

Clark wanted McCall. When Drink arrived on campus, Clark pushed for McCall and could probably had flipped him with Drink’s blessing. But Drink wanted a splash signing at QB and spent a good bit of donor money getting it done.

That is what I heard as well. I guess it is speculation if we would have flipped him but you would hope we could have had we offered him a month or so earlier. I don't think McCall transfers from CCU now and would only leave to go pro. He has a CCU tattoo on his leg. That is commitment. LOL

Drink has struggled some at Missouri, which many thought he would. I heard talk on ESPN yesterday basically saying that the two biggest hot seats in the SEC are Harsin at Auburn and Drink. When it came to Drink it sounds like he is at a critical point in his tenure now because with his schedule he could go 7-5 in 2022 but could also end up 4-8 or 5-7. If he has a losing record and then has another next year you have to believe they move on from him.
