Someone needs to set up a site that is like a gofundme for NIL. Just has the picture/video of the athlete and people can donate to it. Have no clue if that has been attempted yet.

Athletes have been setting up go fund meal’s for the benefit of others recently, which was previously against the rules (allowing their likeness to be used to promote the fundraising), so I would assume it could be done in this case. I’m not sure it would be a good idea in practice, because as much as I’d like to support our athletes, lending likeness to this board could actually be a bad thing for them, knowing all the crap that is posted on here.

Regardless, if someone does want to do it, they should check with the athletic department prior to doing so.

Understand that I'm not suggesting we should do this as I tend to agree with Beau's statement above, however, all the research I've done and all the talking heads on the radio have backed it up, that the NIL thing is like the Wild West. The NCAA has no jurisdiction based on the Supreme Court ruling, so any deal that a kid can make is fair game.,

I contacted the AD's office for some guidance. I believe if we did nothing other that get his likness kicking the field goal in the banner....for 1 year we could offer something.
the man is paying out of state tuition. Even if we get a grand that is something.
