Probably Sanford Mall. No way you could do it in the Stadium on gameday

Not gonna happen. Why would they come up for game day to come see their overrated little darling get bombed over Baghdad?

I don’t think they could go anywhere else. All parking is taken, and they can’t really do anything in the stadium because they need set-up time and we have no other outdoor practice space.BeauFoster wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 4:41 pmProbably Sanford Mall. Based on the amount of trucks and machinery they had in Charlotte at Romare Bearden Park for Georgia/Clemson, they wouldn’t fit on Miller Hill, if it were a possibility. Sanford Mall or perhaps Durham Park, if you set the stage up near University DriveAppinVA wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 7:17 pmI don’t think they could go anywhere else. Amen. Let’s figure out how to actually win a top 25 game before we try to drag Gameday up the mountain.bigdaddyg wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 12:36 pmPersonally the LAST thing I think we need for the game is Game Day. I recall back leading up to the home Miami game people wanted the same thing. We also had some Pep Rally and understandably it was a huge game but I believe all of the added hype was a major distraction. I’d love the game to be moved to 3:30 on Saturday but let the other stuff go.

I can see where you guys are coming from because we certainly need a top 25 win but we should not fear it or have to do that to have CGD show up. The admin clearly would prefer to have CGD here, and while I would love it, I just prefer we played on Saturday because I think our attendance will be much better.InFor6More wrote: ↑Tue Sep 28, 2021 10:45 pmAmen. I think the biggest thing our team needs to focus on is this revenge tour and reminding everyone who we are. We just need to clean up some stuff the next couple weeks and then if we can limit turnovers then I think we can do it. They have a bye with 13 days to prep but at least we are at home where we have an advantage.

Some of these posts are hilarious to me. It is like we suffer from the curse of the Bambino...if CGD comes to Boone, nothing good can happen on that day or we are not worthy of CGD until we win XYZ...
I believe we would prefer that the game be played on Saturday. However, it is not happening on Saturday unless CGD is coming town and forcing the move. The odds of that happening at this point is probably .00000001%....I like those odds...

I am sure the Geography and Planning Department have already worked out a plan for College Game Day to come to campus. I bet if Lowe's were their sponsor they would already have been to Boone multiple times.
