Why don’t you just head on over to their offices to lodge your complaint? It’s over in mamby pamby land.

Do you not think they built the NEZ facility to code? People like you are the reason we all have to wear helmets and can’t play lawn darts anymore.
It's good you put it so delicately.

I loved lawn darts! Very underrated game.
Jarts was so awesome. As a little kid, my grandparents would hand us those and let us go to town playing in the backyard. I think it served 2 purposes- 1. entertainment and 2. preparing us for anything life throws at us

We’ll be okay as long as Nordburg doesn’t pay a visit.

There has been no bigger ASU fan in the past 50 years than App72. He lives and breathes ASU football. I guarantee he's been to more football games than most combined on this board together.
If he has a concern it's legit I can assure you.

The railing is very low. It IS to code; they went over that when I took a tour but the guide said they were all surprised at how low it was. I'm 5'6 and the rail comes just to my hips. Saw a guy at the Marshall game almost trip and fall forward...he was getting back to his seats and instead of having the people on the end of the aisle stand up, he stepped over the back of his seats, and his foot got caught and he stumbled forward but thankfully but not badly.

Should test the fall with a cat - like the other game.

Perhaps an easy solution is to put in safety nets like they have at Top Golf to catch the drunks who fall off of the higher levels. Another option could be to install a plexiglass barrier (if there is any left in the world). When I say the title of this thread I thought it was about something horrible which had occurred. Maybe the wording was a bit strong but as a grandfather of small kids it would make the game experience tough to enjoy if I had to worry about one of them getting too close.

Last night, I was fortunate to be given tickets in the New End Zone on the very front row. My 3 friends and I were shocked at the low height of the fencing barrier in front of us. It needs to be raised at least a foot higher to prevent someone from falling to their death. I plan on contacting someone over the facilities and express my concerns. In the meantime, I pray that no one falls to their death.
I was in 201 and while admiring the NEZ building, definitely noticed how low the front railing was. I was with 2 friends of mine who also agreed once I mentioned it.

That thing appears to be just ripe for a tragedy to happen, or at least a lawsuit.

While sitting in the NEZ for Elon, I also noticed and commented to a friend that the rail seemed a bit low. I also thought the stairs were pretty steep. Maybe it was the beer.

Ok? The NEZ facility is two...TWO games old. If anyone feels the railing is a risk, avoid it. Don't go near it.

Ok thanks for the advice.
Ok how are you going to relay this to the thousands of others buying tickets there that have no clue in all future games?

Does the rail get higher the more games we play? Just asking.

Read the liability release on the back of your ticket. If everything is up to code, there should be no liability for App. Now, if you are personally uncomfortable with it all you have to do is move.

The railing is fine. Could something tragic happen? Sure. However, under normal circumstances, it is unlikely. Don’t climb over seats, don’t lean over the rail. Don’t drink to excess and the chances of there being an issue decline exponentially.

I was in the NEZ seats on the first row for the game on Thursday with my 4 year old son. I can say there were a couple times when I thought the railing could be a little higher, but I also took time to explain to my boy the dangers of falling over the edge. Personally, I never felt unsafe but I'm also in the scaffold business and I'm used to heights. I also kept an eye on my son throughout the game to ensure his curiosity didn't get the best of him. Either way, I can understand arguments from both sides.

If they need further instruction to avoid falling over railings then they have bigger problems than I can help with.
