Same here. It was a shame the Pepsi contract wouldn't allow the sale of iced tea with the barbeque.
We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: Alcohol Sales in KBS
Alcohol sale complaints will take a backseat when people realize we all have to enter The Rock through the (narrowed) east gate and those sitting on the west side of the stadium have to walk all the way around KBS to get to their seats.
I don’t think the entrance line will dissipate until the second quarter. Better grab several roadies for the line.

Agreed! The theme of this game will be how many lines can you stand in and for how long. Flip side, how many people simply won't come for this reason? Blessing and a curse. My guess is attendance will be down because of construction anyway.Gonzo wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2019 7:10 amAlcohol sale complaints will take a backseat when people realize we all have to enter The Rock through the (narrowed) east gate and those sitting on the west side of the stadium have to walk all the way around KBS to get to their seats.

There are gates on the east side that some of you aren't accustomed to. The flow will be fine, but some of you might have to walk off half a beer.Saint3333 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2019 2:10 pmHeard that on the podcast. That is going to be a nightmare. While i know it’s not ideal, everyone knows the issues the stadium is facing this year. At this point if you’re not showing up early to get in by game time it’s kinda on you IMO.

Re: Alcohol Sales in KBS
Can some confirm there will be no west gate to enter the stadium?
This is what I read from Ethan’s article. I Interpreted the information below as it will be smaller, but could still enter.
“Now keep in mind the gates are shrunk. We lost about 30% of the width that we had here before. Now we’re going to open up this gate up on the hill that we haven’t before, so people can just come down through that gate. But I’m nervous.
"I think we’ve planned as much as we can. I think we’ve educated — our fans have been unbelievable with the whole parking issue in terms of just being patient and understanding we’re moving people around. So, so far, so good, but we’ll get a big test here in a couple days."

That is what I remember reading, thought someone was saying that changed. I have used the upper gate when coming down from Greenwood, it is very narrow.

I called the ticket office and confirmed that the west gate will be open. I'll just be a little smaller opening for people to enter the stadium. People will not have to walk around the hill to get to west side seats. Just arrive early to avoid the expected longer than normal cue.

I'm not going to be a barbecue snob, but I would love to know where the fans of woodland's come from. It can't be eastern or Piedmont/Lexington NC. Are you all just yankees?

I like (but don’t love) Woodlands, but in my experience, the biggest WL boosters are from Charlotte.NoLongerLurking wrote: ↑Mon Aug 26, 2019 6:03 pmI'm not going to be a barbecue snob, but I would love to know where the fans of woodland's come from. As we said in the military: "it'll make a turd." I'd rather have something tasty with any possible gastro-effects over "just a turd."appchicago wrote: ↑Mon Aug 26, 2019 6:33 pmI like (but don’t love) Woodlands, but in my experience, the biggest WL boosters are from Charlotte.NoLongerLurking wrote: ↑Mon Aug 26, 2019 6:03 pmI'm not going to be a barbecue snob, but I would love to know where the fans of woodland's come from. Re: Alcohol Sales in KBS
Woodlands in stadium sandwiches are better than the ones at the restaurant, something about that bun and meat steaming in foil hits the spot in KBS.
Put their hot vinegar sauce on it.

I’m on team “Woodlands pork isn’t very good for North Carolina,” but nothing hits the spot like a pulled pork sandwich after you’ve stood around drinking for several hours.
