It was between the 1st and 2nd. It was when the stadium was full, plus they had homecoming at half time. Sure, it was a bit long and took a while for everyone to exit the field. But, it’s their game day. An announcement that big was properly placed for the most attention.

Re: It’s Game Day in Conway
Did anyone else see or hear the CCU fan heckling our players? He was about 2 rows up in section 103 I think. Calling out Hennigan by name. Very obnoxious using obscene gestures and language. The usher talked to him a couple times but never removed him. I’m ok if he is obnoxious and yells for his team but leaning over the wall and calling out our players personally while grabbing himself crossed a line for me. He did leave early. Tensions were definitely on the rise.
And don’t get me started on the foul looks we got from the CCU folks when all the tailgate space was full 2 hours before kickoff. Their inability to navigate tailgate traffic was quite comical. Great turnout by App Nation for sure.

Yes the black and gold was well represented. I loved driving in Lot GG and seeing all the flags blowing in the wind letting Conway know that Mountaineer Nation was in town. One of the CCU fans on the shuttle back to the lot commented that he thought this was the largest turn out by a visiting team he had ever witnessed. Before we unloaded he leaned over and said I believe there was more black and gold than teal in the stadium. Now that my friend is a statement.

Yes it was kinda strange. Our busses just pulled up beside the stadium on University Drive during the 4th quarter and waited for our team there. Reminded me of some of my old high school games. We took over the large tailgate lot (GG) and there were App State flags and fans everywhere. The student section copied GSU with the F App State chant as we went by them, but they didn't stay too long. The stadium was nice and the fans were very friendly that we encountered. Great weekend at the beach and even got an extra hour with the time change.APPRIDE wrote: ↑Sun Nov 04, 2018 8:26 amI am confused on this. Are you saying that there was no showers or changing rooms provided for our players? Is that even allowed?appstatealum wrote: ↑Sat Nov 03, 2018 11:19 pmNice campus, tiny stadium, no visitor locker room. We came, we saw, we conquered. See everyone back at the Rock on the 17th

A guy and his wife were on the Shuttle and complained about not finding a place to park in the GG Lot "because of all of those damn App fans". I politely said, "you're welcome".

We were in the YY lot and I would say it was at least 75% App State. Fans 1.5 hours before kickoff.

We were in the Hdcp lot along with two other App carloads. Only ones I saw there.
