Big East/American has always been my final destination in terms of App. C-USA is compromised of a bunch of upstarts who have nothing going for them except being located in a large market and a good portion of the membership were created after 2000. The names which always get mentioned in national news coverage is in the AAC. Cincinnati, UCF, USF, Memphis, Navy, Houston, SMU and ECU are all household names while nobody frankly gives the teams in C-USA a second thought.

My prediction is that the Big XII will decide to actually live up to their namesake and poach two teams. My money's on Cincinnati and then either Memphis or UCF being picked leaving AAC needing to reload. Hopefully if that happens, they look at us as a viable replacement. As I've said before, we are technically in the Charlotte television market while skirting the Winston-Salem/Greensboro/High Point and Asheville/Greenville/Spartanburg/Anderson television markets which give us good exposure as well so we have a decent following as long as we keep up our winning ways.

Decent tv coverage across half of North Carolina and the major populated areas of South Carolina, combined with a loyal fan following and a long legacy of achievements would make us an attractive addition and joining with the AAC would finally give us the proper exposure as a top G5 team which we deserve to have.
