That must be why people keep saying it’s the episcopal church!

I thought they did ask for no alcohol with tailgating, but it may be something they ask and do not have any intention of enforcing. But they do allow tailgating set-ups and such.

Even without knowing what they will serve I can guarantee it will be good.BUTCH1991 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 30, 2017 8:32 pmThey're catering the Yosef Club room this weekend. Don't know what they'll have, but they're providing the food.McLeansvilleAppFan wrote: ↑Thu Nov 30, 2017 8:16 pmMy wife loves the Jean Lawson at Pepper's. 40th Anniversary was last spring I believe (or was it two springs ago?) Either way, good food, local establishment, and owned by App alums.
My dad loved the French Onion Soup.
Mushrooms are a good APPetizer.
Man, I wish I could have Pepper's this weekend.![]()

I’m sure the wife and I will be at Peppers after the game
I hope to make it to Black Cat before the game.

First Baptist, as previously mentioned is probably the best location for paid lots ($20). It's closest to campus and an easy walk to the stadium. And yes, there's always someone selling tickets on the walk up stadium drive and usually folks hovering around the gates selling as well.

And is donation based.NewApp wrote: ↑Thu Nov 30, 2017 1:54 pmThe Episcopal Church at the corner of 321 and 421 (East King Street) has parking for a donation of any amount.RaleighNCCCC wrote: ↑Thu Nov 30, 2017 1:18 pmHey folks, my wife and I decided to spend a long weekend in the Boone area and noticed App State has a home game Saturday (12/2/17). We have decided to attend and cheer on the Mountaineers.
A few questions regarding game day experience:
1) Is there accessible parking available without a parking pass?
2) Are tickets readily available? As in, are there typically people selling at the tailgate areas?
3) Anything cool you recommend us checking out during the tailgate / game?
I appreciate the help!!
Yes, Grace Lutheran.

There is also free parking up Bodenheimer at what used to be Broyhill. I believe that one has a shuttle, too.
