WFU 2 home games drew 22,000+ and 27,000+...I'm sure they took 500 strong up to BC to help eclipse 38,000 there - we won't beat that unless something happens that we aren't aware of, but no doubt we will be the best team they have played in by far the best atmosphere

I wasn't worried about the game until we let Texas State drive 98 yards Saturday, but still we have beaten them 7.5 times in the past. No reason we can't win this coming Saturday.

You might as well wear neither if you're planning on wearing both. It doesn't matter what ties you have to either school, when that ball leaves the tee you need to pick one side or the other.

I had to uninvite a friend from law school from the tailgate. He's coming with his new Wake-fan girl friend, is being "forced" to wear a Wake shirt, and will be traveling with a group of Wake fans. He didn't go to App or anything, but I won't be the guy who invited a crowd of Wake people to the tailgate, most of whom I don't even know.

I'm usually the guy who waves opposing fans in for a beer, but those are transient encounters. Sustained contact with the enemy is just going to make everyone mad.

That was tickets sold, not butts in seats. Turnstile count probably didn't cap 15,000 for either contest, maybe not even 10,000 for Presby.

100% agree! When App played UNC in basketball a few years ago I wore my App shirt and sweatshirt and a UNC hat, but when watching our guys warm up I felt like a traitor and took my hat off and cheered loud and proud for the Black & Gold.
