Absolutely. Between all those different methods of notification, word of mouth, including the info in season ticket packs, they could even do a phone call like the students who solicit for funding.Gonzo wrote:Yeah I'm not saying you're wrong, but the A Dept can do all those things and more and still have thousands miss the memo.scatman77 wrote:I see notification as being quite well. It's on this site, it's on the athletic site. It should be emailed to all Yosef Club members and season ticket holders. It should be sent to the W-S Journal, Observer, N-O in Raleigh.... in fact to all newspapers and outlets in a 200 mile radius. In 2017 there is no excuse for not being informed.Gonzo wrote:The changes are reasonable, but the problem is notice. Inevitably, many won't get the memo and there will be some angry people at the gate this year. It will cause delays and people might just decide not to see the game at all rather than choose between throwing a bag away or going to the parking lot and back.
We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

Oh boy, anything to boost bookstore sales these days. Using the old public safety pretense to deter objection is really brilliant. I do hope the marketers who schemed these products and sales pitch receive a hefty bonus.
