Good! I hate thundersticks. I'm of the opinion that they actually hurt our noise level. The students concentrate so hard on banging the things together, they forget to actually yell.

No doubt we need to bring our "A" game for Furman. Let me tell ya their record is not a good gauge in determining how they will do this coming Saturday. They are a much better team than their record reflects. If we lose focus, they can and will send us packing. Stay focused Apps and remember, IT ISN'T OVER TILL IT'S OVER. Go Apps!!

The good thing about thundersticks is that they would always go flat by halftime.

Yeah, I hope our fans remember that bringing your "A" game does not include acting like "A"ssholes, like some of the classless asshats in Statesboro did after the game...fans threatening officials, one of the players getting arrested, etc.

I hope so too. The stink fans blame it all on the Refs and have embarASSed themselves. Hey, we have had our share of bad calls this year also I think, but our fans (majority of them anyway) show class and act like we have been there before.

Gotta get loud and raise some hell for our Apps on Black Saturday. Don't overlook em guys. Keep discipline. Beat Furman!

I thought the same thing last year as well, right up to Furman thumping us. Hopefully, we learned a lesson from that and the team will bring its "A" game too.

Yes, after that FU game last year it was kinda down hill for the rest of the season. Cannot have a let down like that this year. Beat Furman!

Y'all better be loud. Bang on the back of the seat in front of you if you're in one of those sections. Jump up and down. Heckle people for sitting down, not vis versa. Let's make them soil their nice white trousers.
Section 110 will be loud as hell for "BLACK ****ing SATURDAY!!!" (That's cool as hell!)

I would LOVE IT if during the opening package, they crank up the volume on Sean Connery's "Welcome to the ROCK!"

That would be awesome. I think they used to time it so that we could hear his "Welcome to The Rock!" right before the fireworks & team's entrance. I cannot hear it any more. Maybe we could hear it one more time for Black Saturday! :!: !

Beat Furman!!!

I saw the megaphones (Sponsored by The Village of Meadowview) on the Black Saturday Gameweek Information emailing. BTW FUrman sucks! Also, has 5000 thunder sticks (Sponsored by Carolina West Wireless) and rally towel (Sponsored by Blue Cross & Blue Shield of North Carolina) give aways listed for Saturday. Thanks to those App sponsors! Hope that helps pump everyone up for Black Saturday. Beat Furman!!!

Thanks to all the App sponsors....except Carolina West. Buy coozies, more towels, anything but thunder sticks.

Let's all do our part to take a tone from each person giving them out and deposit them directly into the trash. Especially if you're in or near the student sections.

I'm not a student anymore---been a looooong time!---but I'd still love to get a megaphone and a towel. Think I could pass as a co-ed? ;)
