We could, but we pretty much have to win out and win our bowl game. ECU's season is almost over with conference play getting ready to start, so expect them to go .500 the rest of the way. NC State might win only 4 more games this year, they still have Clemson, Louisville, Florida State, MIAMI, and unc on their schedule. Wake and Duke both aren't good.
I thinkk App St as good and with some luck could win out. But what does that even mean with your remaining schedule?

This weekend at Akron will tell us a lot. As far as SunBelt goes, both Georgia Southern and Troy look strong. You also can never rule out the Ragin' Cajuns, though they haven't looked the part in non-conference play. The kicker is all 4 of those games are on the road.

I don't think he was inquiring for a serious discussion, more of a backhanded compliment

Waiting to see how the Panthers play the Vikings?

Based purely on AP + Coaches Poll rankings:
1. UNC (51 + 51)
2. NC State (9 + 34)
3. Wake Forest (1 + 6)
4. App (0 + 3)
ECU is better than their record. Charlotte just squeaked by Florida Atlantic for their first ever C-USA win.

Reasonable when you use the votes.
