Well it certainly sucks for me coming up from Atlanta. I guess if I was lucky enough to live up there or within a couple of hours, I probably would be quite fine with it. I don't mind one 12 o'clock game a year. I enjoyed this weekend having time after the game to do stuff and all that but we made s whole long weekend out of it and stayed in a hotel. I definitely cant do that more than once a year. Rooms up there are way too expensive.t4pizza wrote:I have always believed that the optimum time for maximum attendance in Boone is a 3:30 kickoff time. Noon games are way too early and kill the attendance.
I couldn't imagine tailgating after that whooping we received. I felt deflated and the only thing I wanted to do was go back home.HighlandsApp wrote:I really enjoyed the afternoon tailgating AFTER the Miami game. Tailgating before and then again after is fun.
It started this year with the Sun Belt. My understanding is that ASN is not paying schools to air this content or very little. Maybe this is some sort of revenue sharing of ad revenue after production expenses are paid for from ad sells.appfanz wrote:Why is it on ASN? How dare people spend money at local businesses.dlh71 wrote:Why does everything pertaining to an App Athletic Departmemt decision have to suck for some of these posters. Some of you guys just tear me up. So you don't get to tailgate for 4 hrs. Grab a Bojangils Biscuit on the way up the mountain and get to the game. Might save you a few bucks over buying enough food and beer for a block party and having half of the food to go to waste.
Grab a big ole cup of code and leave at 6:00. I'll treat you to a Bloody Mary and a biscuit at space 29AppinATL wrote:Well it certainly sucks for me coming up from Atlanta. This really sucks.
Most people, that come from several hours away, hate noon kick-offs. Unless you are talking about the decision to join the SunBelt this has nothing to do with the App Athletic Department.dlh71 wrote:Why does everything pertaining to an App Athletic Departmemt decision have to suck for some of these posters.
I think he's complaining about complainers. Which is a valid complaint.TheMoody1 wrote:Most people, that come from several hours away, hate noon kick-offs.
