Re: Tickets yet?
Well that doesnt make much sense to me. If I had known that was the case we would have bought ours from the bowl. I would rather have better seats. I get the whole school gets credit thing. but we get screwed if we buy them through the school.

It does seem like a strange priority. Then again, I'd rather be on the 20 surrounded by fellow Mountaineers than on the 50 between a couple of locals talking about Derrick Henry's Heisman.ASUchipman wrote:Well that doesnt make much sense to me. Re: Tickets yet?
Well we will just wait for the locals to not show or get bored and go sit in their seats.

Exactly, if this were a 70,000 seat stadium I'd be more worried about it.mountaineerman wrote:There is not a bad seat in this stadium similar to k brewer

I never responded and got this follow up. Looks like someone is having a rough day.Gonzo wrote:I just got a weird email. I ordered my tickets through Appstatesports the first day they were available. Today's email said:
"[...] I am e-mailing you to let you know that the tickets you purchased for the bowl game behind the Ohio bench have been moved to reserved seats behind the App State bench. We had some extra tickets and were able to accommodate all of our fans who purchased on the opposite side of the field. Tickets will be available for pick up at the designated times listed on appstatesports.com starting Thursday at the team hotel as well as Saturday beginning at 2:30 CT at Gate 8 at the stadium."
I have two obvious questions/comments.
1. Why the hell was I placed behind the Ohio bench if I got my tickets through ASU on the first day?
2. Maybe we didn't sell out our allotment.
"My apologies. Your tickets were originally assigned to the East Side, behind App State's bench, so there will be no changes in your seating assignment.
I hope you have a great day!"

Thanks, but I did end up getting it from the ticket office.

Re: Tickets yet?
I believe they were selling seats from the Ohio allotment earlier this week as all of our tickets had been sold. I guess they had a few unaccounted for that they were then reassigning to App folks that bought this week. So it sounds like most of our fans will be on the East Side together.Gonzo wrote:I never responded and got this follow up. Our seats are around the 35-40 yard line so it sounds like App got seats between the 40-20 yard line. According to one report the locals and sponsors bought 13,000 tickets to the game this year. I'm fine with this as the bowl has to rely on local sales in case you get a bad match-up. Just imagine if Idaho was playing in our place...

Does anyone but me believe Gonzo was put behind the Ohio bench for a reason? Who better to harass the Bobcats?
