Re: Satt Deal
The fact is that's college football. You win consistently someone is going to offer you more money than what another school can pay. In this case MUCH more. Great for Scott so just as they say about players, Next Man Up! Don't need to hear anymore about someone at another school. Lt DG find us a new coach, let him bring his staff and go win the Sunbelt again next year. Hopefully the new guy can finish the job against some of the P5 schools. Something Scott never did as HC. Yet he accomplished all he could.

Re: Satt Deal
I'm sure it did actually, by the time the press conference was over his twitter profile was updated to a pic of him in a UL visor. Now it's him and his fam in the stadium. @CoachSattUofLRick83 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 05, 2018 1:31 pmI wonder if Satt gets a Cardinal visor as part of his deal?!?

Re: Satt Deal
First off, congrats to Satt and his family! That's a hell of a raise and his resume proves he's deserving of such.
Second, IMO, red is not a good look on him!
Yes I know, green looks good on everyone.
To top it off, hopefully App State will see some of that Loui$ville money (not just from the buyout) by way of the Satterfield family continuing to contribute to the scholarship fund they endowed last year. He should have some extra couch money laying around now.

Re: Satt Deal
It seems like yesterday I was watching him accept the HC job at App and talking about all the people to thank and how excited he was to get started here. Time flies

Re: Satt Deal
There should have been like a ceremonial thing where he removes his App visor slowly and respectfully and then puts on the Cardinal visor...it could have been a moment but I'm not sure the Card fans would have understood...but they will once they start seeing him on the sidelines!GregPercussion wrote: ↑Wed Dec 05, 2018 3:08 pmI'm sure it did actually, by the time the press conference was over his twitter profile was updated to a pic of him in a UL visor. I probably should have used the biggest sarcasm font known to man. That was meant to be a huge joke. Yes they might be able to squeeze him in.

Jimmy Sexton has negotiated over $800 million in sports contracts and earned close to $40 million. He shows you the money.

Re: Satt Deal
Someone has probably posted this, but that was not his decision. That's on Louisville, they hold all the cards. They needed a commitment and if wanted to drag it out they may have just moved on to the next candidate.yikas1 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 04, 2018 10:07 pmI guess this is the way it goes in this business. Satt did a lot for App but don’t forget what we have done for him. It’s a shame he takes the money and runs two days after the last game and can’t wait two more weeks before he announced he is taking coaches too?

Right. Maybe if he goes .500 next season, he can negotiate an extra ticket.
