In a game of inches the calls matter. I know we could make some more plays and PD is dog shit at QB, but this one is on the SBC and their crew. What an abomination to the sport of football.

Defense getting whipped. Thoroughly dominated by GSU. See y'all at Coastal.

Good-by national ranking (that was short lived) and conference title, maybe we'll get the Dollar General again.

That’s what the option is built for. It’s hard to stop it when your defense on the field the whole game. Our offense is nonexistent without our starting RB and starting QB.

Not sure what this means. They’re clearly better. Our team has looked inexcusably unprepared all night. They’ve absolutely smoked us and could be getting ranked soon.
It’s been a bad night but it’s all on Scott.

Don’t blame the defense. We never imagined how bad Peyton Derrick would be. And we never imagined the uphill battle we’d face against the officials. It was truley the perfect storm.

No excuses!!! Their DL just whipped our OL. Jalin wouldn't have been much of a factor tonight.appstatealum wrote: ↑Thu Oct 25, 2018 8:50 pmThat’s what the option is built for. Hats off to the buzzards.
Too much to overcome at this point. Too many distractions on a short week. At least the team won’t have to worry about being ranked anymore.

I'm highly disappointed in our team. They've given up and their heads are somewhere else. GS has whipped our butts to night. No other way to say it.

Injuries, PENALTIES, and perhaps starry eyes?!.... I’ve told myself all week, this wasn’t the ideal time to be ranked.... but still proud we got there....

Re: Appalachian State vs. Georgia Southern [Gameday Thread]
So many excuses in here. Some breaks definitely haven’t gone our way but Ga Southern flat out got after it. They looked hungrier and it’s shown. We showed up thinking the W was going to be a given and the stink has shoved it down our throat.
We are getting our ass beat on national television. End of story. No one cares about the refs or backup QB’s.

No excuse. We were and still are the better team. Clearly we did not come in with the focus that many of us who have lived through this rivalry for the last 18 plus years knew we needed to have. You simply can’t give a team at home this kind of momentum.

Come on. This is a ridiculous post on a few levels.diehardapp18 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 25, 2018 8:52 pmNot sure what this means. They’re clearly better. Our team has looked inexcusably unprepared all night. They’ve absolutely smoked us and could be getting ranked soon.

How is this on Scott? We are down RB#1, QB1, and a leading starting linebacker.
How many teams can overcome that in the middle of a game?
I don’t see them as clearly better. Take 14 points off board for turnovers and add a little offense from our starting QB, and this is a completely different game.
Do you honestly think if ga southern was down their starting an and RB, their offense would be firing on all cylinders??

Where the fuck is the sense of urgency? Play click down to about 5 seconds or less before we snap, to only get a few yards.
