Castle reminds me of Brad Hoover (Western Carolina), bruising back with above average speed. He may stay at RB.InFor6More wrote: ↑Sat Nov 28, 2020 9:48 pmReading this made me think of the RB from Watauga High that ate us alive during his Wofford days. I googled him and found this.Tbatchelor1977 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 28, 2020 8:16 pmHe needs to be a LB. Although he had long run today, I just do not see him as our every down back. IMO, not quick or fast enough to elude athletic linemen or LBs on consistent basis. With build, could be one heck of a LB hopefullyAppStateNews wrote: ↑Sat Nov 28, 2020 7:59 pmUntil Covid knocked out a couple RBs pre Campbell game, he was LB. He made the switch due to depth. Chances are he will be back at LB next year. He was in the two deep at LB first game.Appsolutely wrote: ↑Sat Nov 28, 2020 7:42 pmAnderson Castle is a badass. He’s tough and quick. Plus, he wears #44, and I remember Riggins. I’m not second-guessing the coaches, but I bet he could play some LB.

We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

One of Clark's comments referred to having a healthy 11 and 5. Both are seniors. Assuming they do not elect in for additional year, who are the WRs coming back that play like big receivers and/or physical receivers? Having "2" back next year fills one slot. The other new guys, like Horn, appear that they are a little smaller and need to create more space. Be nice to have big/tall possession wr for next year

Horn is taller than both Hennigan and Virgil. He doesn't weigh as much but he also hasn't had a 4 years in a college weight room yet. I don't know what you mean of Horn being a smaller WR... He's certainly not small....Tbatchelor1977 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 4:38 pmOne of Clark's comments referred to having a healthy 11 and 5. Both are seniors. Not sure how he’ll fare once he gets on the mountain, but I’d imagine Da’Shawn Brown, incoming freshman, would vie for a spot if he signs his NIL with us.Tbatchelor1977 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 4:38 pmOne of Clark's comments referred to having a healthy 11 and 5. Upon watching the game again I think it was our best of the year , top to bottom. Also didn’t realize that Derrick Graham’s son starts on the Troy O line. Derrick was among our best ever at the tackle position, my opinion.

Got selected for tickets to attend this game. My first (and probably only game this year). Mixed emotions being in the stadium but overall I pushed anything negative aside and just enjoyed it. It also helped that we looked great and put a total beatdown on them.
In spite of everything, we have a chance to close out the season strong. I'm still not sold on Clark, but winning vs a ranked ULL and a good GaSo team would be big going into next year. Improvements and adjustments can be made. And it's his first year, he can improve. I think I'm better at my job than I was 1 year ago when I first started and things could seem overwhelming...Coach could do the same. Go into 2021 with that and hopefully a bowl win to boot, and having a hopefully normal season next year....that's my goals for this team.
