Re: Coaching carousel
Winning-est coach in Panther history, one of only two Panther coaches to get them to the Super Bowl, twice winner of Coach of the Year in the NFL (or the division?). I don't think so. Hopefully you are wrong, because I admire him. Odds are some other NFL team will pick him up.

Re: Coaching carousel
I don’t understand this. He wasn’t a very good NFL coach the first time and is underachieving at Michigan, and was on the hot seat for a while.
What about his resume makes him desirable for another NFL HC job?

He was 49-22 as a head coach with the 49ers.

Re: Coaching carousel
Yes he was quite good in San Francisco, the front office at the end of his tenure imploded which led to poorly constructed teams. There were a lot of egos involved and Baalke thought he was the second coming and helped show Harbaugh the door. As for his "woes" at Michigan, it is interesting that he can't beat OSU or any other team that is favorites over his Wolverines. His offensive staffs have been lackluster and it hides the fact that his defenses have been great (outside of OSU). The Panthers could do so much worse, Teppers move here will tell us a lot about how he wants the team play.hapapp wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 4:31 amHe was 49-22 as a head coach with the 49ers.

I’d be happy with Harbaugh; you just have to know what you’re getting going in. He’s likely to improve the team quickly, then wear out his welcome in 4-5 years.

Sounds like someone you want for a rebuild, until you find someone who can sustain the success.EastHallApp wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 8:36 amI’d be happy with Harbaugh; you just have to know what you’re getting going in. He’s likely to improve the team quickly, then wear out his welcome in 4-5 years.

Re: Coaching carousel
I see that as the exact opposite of what Tepper said he wanted in his press conference.EastHallApp wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 8:36 amI’d be happy with Harbaugh; you just have to know what you’re getting going in. He’s likely to improve the team quickly, then wear out his welcome in 4-5 years.
