I'm listening to this podcast, are you sure they're just not calling them the Zombie Defense because it's Halloween this Saturday?

How about dark force or doom squad.

Also, I think you guys may have something here with the Legion of Boone. As a legion is described as an army in ancient Rome; it could be a great identity for our fan base. The slogan could really market well to fans and be incorporated as a way to get fans more involved in the game (Ala legion of doom in Seattle). Also, piggybacking off the Seattle thing; we need to do something to incorporate the 12th man at the beginning of the game. Something like Seattle also does with lifting the 12th man flag.........thoughts? Not to mimic them, but a video or something could be done easily with our great video department.

Yeah but the whole 12th Man thing in college is pretty much synonymous with Texas A&M though, it wouldn't be unique.

Not exactly saying a 12th man flag, just something like it. Perhaps a "Legion of Boone" flag that waves over the video board.....

Texas A&M owns the 12th Man trademark. Seattle has to pay them to use it.

Legion of Boone is copycat-ish. Especially since the current LOB is overrated.

A number of people here hate the Zombie Defense, so lets go with that.

Zombie D plays well for Halloween, but I agree in general it's not great. Hard to argue with Legion of Boone!

Just call them "the zombies". It sounds mean. It sounds like we swarm, we're out for blood, you can't get past us. You can't go around us. Your only chance is to smash into us and hope for the best.

Piggybacking off Seattle!?!?!? Right in the heart man. It was stolen from Texas A&M. When you get a chance, read why their fan base it called the 12th man. It's a really awesome story.

No. 1 defense in the NFL two years in a row, two Super Bowls, one title. If that's overrated, please let App be overrated.

As far as being "copycat-ish" (and this isn't just directed at you since a few people have said that) - you guys do realize the Legion of Boom is a play off "Legion of Doom," right? It's called a play on words. You take something familiar and play off it. It's what makes something stick.
