Interesting, play ODU at home on Saturday the 10th, at Coastal on Friday the 16th and back home for JMU on a Thursday.

Last two make no sense. If one of those two teams make the championship game, we play them again within a couple of weeks.

Wow what a schedule...As a fan this is a dream

A blast from the past in Maine
3 in state rivals....IN A ROW
Bye week after NCSU to get healthy
We don't venture outside of VA/NC/SC until Halloween!
We get our rival on Halloween!!!....Which is a Saturday!
Easy trip down to ATL for GSU which is a get right game before heading Marshall
We avoid having to go to Monroe by hosting ULM which is a get right/cupcake game before SBAMA

We don't play outside NC until October and don't have a flight until November!

Honestly this is a video game schedule!

Agreed. I like the schedule. Alternates home and away. The only weird aspect is the Saturday-Friday-Thursday stretch in October but maybe this was feedback from the schools to limit the Saturday to Thursday week and offer an extra day of rest. The Thursday night game will be worse for JMU than us as they play on the Saturday before.

Raise your hand if you’re pleasantly surprised to see App didn’t get hosed on the 2026 football schedule (as the SBC has done most other seasons).

Going 5-8 kinda helped us with the limited weeknight games.

JMU's trip to Boone is the start of three straight Thursday games for them where they then host Troy and go to Southern Miss.

The Marshall away game is their 75 game, honoring the plane crash.

I see that as an honor to be a part of.

Probably the best schedule layout we've had in a decade maybe since our SoCon days.

The schedule is great for folks living a day's drive away. I may be able to make 9 games which will be the most games in like forever. 😂

SBC wants to put JMU on display in prime time games…Dukes are a victim of their own success.

Fair point. Calling this LA Tech situation “fluid” would be an understatement.

Somebody get on the horn with Lindenwood and see if they’re available that week. Just in case.

We have connections. We have one of their former players.

Not sure if you're wrong, or I'm reading you wrong, but the GA State game is in Boone. Then, App heads up to Marshall. The entire schedule alternates home/away, which is kinda fun too.
