I said something similar after the first game. App is rebuilding, Southern is not. If I were a Southern fan (*shudders*) I wouldn’t be happy about Helton’s job at ALL.

Re: Birmingham Bowl
I have zero judgment to levy on our players today, but Wilson doesn’t look like a dual threat to me. In that he’s an extremely effective runner that offers nothing through the air. Fun to watch today but had he been our regular starter we’d basically need to run a triple option offense.t4pizza wrote: ↑Mon Dec 29, 2025 3:07 pmDon't understand why a coach who wants a dual threat QB completely ignored the one on the team and moved him to DB. He may not have all the tools, but it isn't like we had Johnny Unitas out there all year. Can't convince me that we couldn't have a several packages for Wilson throughout the year.

Plays like that one from #8 is what drive you crazy.
Time to put a TD on the board and make these inbreds nervous.

I was thinking the same thing. Plus a team that isn't prepared for a player can make them look like a superstar until they figure it out.ah59396 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 29, 2025 3:11 pmI have zero judgment to levy on our players today, but Wilson doesn’t look like a dual threat to me. First down inside the red zone, fingers crossed. Please please don’t screw this up.

These announcers are idiots. Lewis is a true freshman, he was never a teammate of that traitor.

Re: Birmingham Bowl
Not saying he should have started or really played much, but his legs are good enough for some special packages. Like that TD run he just had.ah59396 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 29, 2025 3:11 pmI have zero judgment to levy on our players today, but Wilson doesn’t look like a dual threat to me. Re: Birmingham Bowl
DLo can task him with teaching our WRs what blocking downfield is supposed to look like.
