I've got a handful of Southern grad coworkers. If they talk about football at all, it's about UGA. That's all you need to know to know Helton's on the hot seat.

Those of you talking about staying home because of the weather are literally model "fair weather fans." Didn't you guys go to school in Boone for goodness sake? You can't get on your soap box confessing your love for App State and App State Football if you puss out on this game. We're talking about hate week here, we ain't talking about practice, we talking about the game.

It's a televised game because of the history of our hate for that team and ESPN knows App fans show up for this game and there will not be a lot of metal showing. . I'll be there with my wife and two other App fans (friends who didn't even go to App). I'm throwing down the gauntlet, I hate that team and unless your dead, dying or, God forbid, too scared to call in sick for work, you damn well better be there.

If I recall correctly, Chad murdered a couple of chairs during his tenure there. I suppose they determined he was of questionable character to be leading their team. High standards and all like they have.

I like Thursday night games actually. We do not seem to play many, if any, Saturday night games.
CCU, Marshall wins..CCU loss all on a weekday were fun games.

I do prefer to Saturday night games overall..but once a year on Thursday is fun.
Thursday allows long weekend in Boone.
Not much of a fan of Tuesday or Wednesday night due to work.


I wish we played a couple of Saturday night games in September to mid October.

I agree. Everyone on this board needs to look at the attendance for all the G5 games played Tu-Th this year and even last year. Tell me the common team playing that has the highest attendance over the past few years.
