How large or small is the gap between an average G5 who loses most of their better talent every year to P4’s and a really good FCS? Ten years ago I’d say the gap was larger than now. I don’t advocate dropping back down but have we seen the last power school play in Boone? Is the Belt basically on par with a strong FCS conference with bigger rosters?

Everyone needs to relax. The smart folks knew that we would lose to USM and to Boise State. We are still early in the year. I will start criticizing Loggains and staff if we are turning the ball over like crazy in 3-4 weeks. We do need to get better though. Some of the mistakes we are making are not anything that more NIL money will fix.

That was a really nice answer and drive. Gave me some hope which I really haven't had most the game. Honestly, we haven't shown that we can stop them unless they stop themselves. We continue to make too many mistakes, penalties and turnovers will kill any team. We are only down by 10 but it feels like more right now. Need a defensive stop and get score again.
