Anybody been to BSU before or know of any good bars to hit before the game? We will be flying in so wont be getting a parking pass for this one, looks like they do have GA lots you can purchase day of game for those who will have a truck [https://boisestatebaa.com/sports/2023/8 ... rking.aspx].

As much as I enjoy a good tailgate, my new city approach is to just find a local restaurant for lunch and then just explore the area around the stadium and soak in the atmosphere. We found a great local cajun joint in Lafayette, had great food and a brief conversation with Keith Gill. In Laramie, we met a couple of former Cowboy players on the street downtown who had played when they visited Boone. They recommended a local restaurant/watering hole and we had another great lunch. Most likely, that will our plan in Boise.

Yeah, that’s me as well. We are not tailgaters so we float from spot to spot killing time in Boone. We have the same approach as you when on the road. Went to Olde Tyme Grocery the last time we were in Lafayette. There are some good spots in Boise that I have seen featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives that we will hit while in town.

Cajun fans are the best, bar none, at inviting opposing teams fans to their tailgates to sample their jambalaya and hospitality. And Granddad has been stirring the cauldron of jambalaya for a day and a half. Im not kidding. The jambalaya will cure what ails tou. If you bring a bottle of your favorite adult beverage and share, they will invite you back. I speak from experience.
