I'll be honest. I have had a smile on my face since kickoff! I love college football and I love Appalachian State! I am so glad we don't look like a bunch of knuckleheads. Tons of potential folks!

What stands out to me so far with App’s offense?

Unlike last season, I can’t predict what the next offensive play will be.

I can only speak for myself, but I am enjoying that.

I see it differently. He's a playmaker. Just needs a bit of time to adjust to playing up a level and seeing that he cant get away with some of the over running stuff he did in FCS.

A few tweaks are certainly needed to stop the runs. But this App secondary is playing like a unit.

Oh yeah, and guys are consistently tackling. I like that too.
