Alumni Tailgate UNCC

Apologies if this is already been discussed, but I couldn’t find it in the search

Any news of an alumni tailgate for the game in Charlotte? Last time against East Carolina they rented out the Charlotte Knights baseball stadium and have had one at most if not all of the bowl games

The alumni group didn’t rent out the Knighs stadium. It was folks from the YCAB that did it. See the link above for the festivities throughout the week. It should be a good time.

alumni tailgate is full. I dunno if they thought with our crappy year there wouldn't be much interest or if the opponent wasn't as exciting as ECU but the venue they picked only had space for 300.

yeah I dunno what they were thinking. Should have minimum space for 500. Probably closer to 1k. Like at ECU BOA game, i'm sure App nation will take up every nook and cranny around BoA with tailgate tents, not that are unused to that in Boone.

I’m sure. I found it interesting that the registration list was not available for view. I think the venue for Friday is owned by an App grad which might have factored into the choice of venue. Either way, it’s unfortunate that all that want to attend can’t.

I was at the alumni event tonight and asked about Fridays event that is full. They capped it at 300 for costs and any App fan that shows up won’t be turned away.
