Have two tickets for sale…. Face value. Bought through App State, but have decided not to go.

Re: Boise Tickets
Does anyone know the designated App St. sections for Boise? I emailed the ticket office and they said they’re waiting on seat allocations so didn’t specify what sections we are going to be in. I’m restricted to the two ticket limit for Yosef Club and don’t necessarily want to buy two and have the other three tickets sitting somewhere else.

According to last year's seating chart (https://broncosports.com/sports/2023/3/ ... ting-chart), visitors seats are in 101, 102, &111.

Re: Boise Tickets
Our allotment looks to be sold out on Appstatesports.com. Went on the Boise site and scooped up tickets in section 103 row T. Hopefully a large contingent of App fans heading out west for this one.

Re: Boise Tickets
Boise fan here. It's awesome to see that Appy State has sold out their allotment. I think you'll really enjoy Boise and the game day experience.
For those that asked, the away seats are in the northwest corner. If you look at a picture of the stadium, it's below the fat part of the Sky Club.
If you do come, I'd recommend staying downtown rather than close to the stadium. Downtown is lively and you can catch a free shuttle to the game, or it's only a mile walk. I also have a studio Airbnb that is walking distance to the stadium and downtown if anyone is interested. It'd be cheaper than a hotel. And I could show you around town and the tailgates.

Re: Boise Tickets
A little about the Boise team, they have a strong team returning and are expecting another CFP run. OL is probably the strength of the team, but they also have the preseason conference OPOTY at QB. Jeanty was a generational talent, but the RB room is is deep and talented. Boise has had an All Conference RBs for 25 years and should again. Boise currently has 5 RBs in the NFL, so it's a position that is always a strength. WR is the concern. They have one solid returner and then a bunch of small contributors. Guys will need to step up, as they didn't bring in anything in the transfer portal. TE is all conference and should be one of the better ones in the country.
Defense was the weaker side of the ball, but was decent. They lost a DE to the draft, but the starting DL looks strong. The depth will be younger guys, so that could be an issue. LBs look solid, but did lose an All conference player to the portal. Like DL, depth is mostly unproven. Most of the defensive backfield returns, but it was the weakest unit on the team. Fans aren't a high on the DB coach, so this is kind of a "put-up-or-shut-up" year for him.
Offensively, you'll see a very balanced attack, that'll lean slightly more on the run. Defensively, it's a heavy blitz team. They led the country in sacks last year and was top 5 in TFL. They do tend to give up big plays because of that.
Tell me about your team? It looks like you lost a lot, including your coach. What are you guys expecting?

Hope I'm wrong, but I think Boise may smoke us. We have way too many question marks going into season.Kingpotato wrote: ↑Wed Aug 20, 2025 2:31 pmA little about the Boise team, they have a strong team returning and are expecting another CFP run. ...which is such a damn shame. If only we could have played Boise during our pre-Clark run! Hopefully we can return to form when Boise comes to Boone in 2027.

It's why you play the game....folks thought Michigan, Tenn, Penn State and A&M would all "smoke us"....Irmo down 5 runs last night in LLWS in bottom of 6th...mic'ed up coach told players to "believe". They tie game to go to extra innings and win ...in my brain, App. St. winning until the scoreboard tells me otherwise. I have never picked App. St. to lose.AppStateDieHard wrote: ↑Thu Aug 21, 2025 8:00 am

I get it. I smoke the hopium every year. My heart says 17-0 — but my brain? Sigh.BambooRdApp wrote: ↑Thu Aug 21, 2025 8:33 amIt's why you play the game....folks thought Michigan, Tenn, Penn State and A&M would all "smoke us"....Irmo down 5 runs last night in LLWS in bottom of 6th...mic'ed up coach told players to "believe". It's just a bad time not to be playing up to our standards, that's all.

Kingpotato - great name. Give us a couple of games to digest the newness of the team and we'll be able to have this discussion, thanks for stopping in!

Re: Boise Tickets
Might be time to update expectations to the standard. There is a great deal of parity being created in the new era of college football. The NFL model is built for every team to finish 8-8 with factors like injuries and other internal obstacles making an 8-8 team 4-12. That’s where college football is heading.

Re: Boise Tickets
I agree this system will likely lead to more parity within subgroups. The periods of one team winning 3-4 consecutive conference titles is likely dead.

Re: Boise Tickets
Speaking of Boise tickets, are those going to be mailed to us, pick at will call, or print/email through the Paciolan portal? Anyone know?

Re: Boise Tickets
Boise uses Ticketmaster so that’s likely how they will come. Very similar to the Charlotte tickets through CSF.BeauFoster wrote: ↑Thu Aug 21, 2025 10:29 amSpeaking of Boise tickets, are those going to be mailed to us, pick at will call, or print/email through the Paciolan portal? Anyone know?

Re: Boise Tickets
Yes, this is the case. A couple of things. They have metal detectors to get in, so it's reeeeeally slow getting in, so try to get in early. Also, pull your tickets up early. There will be another 20-30k that are just there to tailgate and not go in, so cell service gets really bogged. You can get stuck at the front and not be able to pull up your tickets. You can't screen shot it or it won't work.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 21, 2025 11:26 amBoise uses Ticketmaster so that’s likely how they will come. The visitor section also has the best food options. The spicy gyro is great, as are the burritos/tacos. Also, brisket Mac and cheese is good, as well.

Re: Boise Tickets
I appreciate the optimism, but I'm a realist whose eyes have seen quite a drop off in talent, especially defensively, over the last 2 years. Hoping we can turn the ship around soon. As they say, "hope springs eternal".BambooRdApp wrote: ↑Thu Aug 21, 2025 8:33 amIt's why you play the game....folks thought Michigan, Tenn, Penn State and A&M would all "smoke us"....Irmo down 5 runs last night in LLWS in bottom of 6th...mic'ed up coach told players to "believe". This is not our first trip to play Boise St. Let's hope our second visit is better than the first.

Thanks for the information. Arriving late Thursday from Seattle. Hitting a few breweries and reservations at St. Lawrence Gridiron for gameday brunch.Kingpotato wrote: ↑Thu Aug 21, 2025 1:37 pmYes, this is the case. A couple of things.
