Just saw this and I have to say that I was very surprised how low they had our guy ranked. At the end of the day it is just a meaningless ranking, but thought I would share it anyways.

Yardbarker has been around a while. I don't always agree with their stuff but its something to read in a slow news cycle. Hoping DL proves them wrong. Just not enough sample size yet for some to say he will thrive as a college Head Coach. Time will tell.

rankings done with practically no data available (as head coach for our guy) so it's pretty meaningless. Those with track records are ranked higher. It's an opinion piece. Based on what I've heard / read, DLO seems to be making all the right moves so I couldn't care less what some analyst / columnist thinks. Let's check back in December and see how it all pans out.

Maybe. I think he's a good coach but hasn't coached a game yet at Tulsa. Should be interesting to follow

I wanted Tre Lamb at first because I had never even heard of a Dowell Loggains before December to be honest 
I assume most hadn’t either which is why he is so low on this list. I’m pleased with DL so far. I can say confidently that Lamb wouldn’t have been able to get the type of coaches to join the staff that DL has.

I am very happy with Dowell Loggains. I think Tre Lamb would be gone in a year or so just like Drinkwitz. I think in this day and age, Dowell Loggains is the coach or type of coach that will thrive. One thing I do like is that regardless of what happens, Chapel Hill will be where all the eyes are this season. It helps all the new hires in NC.
