We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Well done staff!

Great to see so many old friends.

I had to miss this year in CLT. Who from the staff was there? How was the crowd?
We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

They have built a solid FCS program, Bell is a good recruiter and coach. Resources are scarce there , making what he’s done more impressive. He may be promoted by ‘28.
Hope so. Sadly, I believe he would have beat us with the previous staff but we don't know what we got here yet. I am hopeful he is gone by then because as you said what he has done is very impressive. Going 7-5 or better there is very hard to do.
Why would we ever want to play a team not at their best? This makes zero common sense. I want the Purple People at their best. As competitors, we should always want to play a y team when most healthy, etc. that is a loser mentality. And no, we would not have lost to them under the previous staff, no matter what deficiencies you, I or anyone else thinks about the previous staff. Wcu went 7-5 in 2024, 7-4 in 2023 and 7-5 in 2022. Good Grief...

DG, Witten and football, women's basketball, and wrestling coaches. No breaking news from any of them. I'd say 150-200 people attended. Saw a lot more 25-35 year olds than in year's past, great sign.

I’m told they are trying to schedule an additional stop , in Hickory. The alumni staff has taken the lead on the tour and is doing a really nice job.

There are some alumni here in York County, SC who are trying to organize an alumni chapter here. Waiting on it to get off the ground but it's still early.

About 10 years ago, I was part of a group of App alums that explored starting an alumni chapter in our town.

I’m unsure what’s involved in making it happen now. But back then, standing up a chapter was a lot of work and involved the charter members pledging meaningful time/money commitments.

Regardless, I really hope the York County alums are successful. More alumni chapters is a win for all parties.
