We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. No consecutive weekend road games.

*great job Doug!*

Southern Miss will be a tough first conference game on the road. They took 30 players from Marshall.

Am I the only 1 that see's November home games as a huge advantage for us??? Most teams, especially in the SB, haven't acclimated to the cold yet. Now Marshall is an outlier to that, but GS & Arky State aren't going to like that trip up the mountain at that point in time.
I used to think this as well, but I'm not sure records in the more recent years support this. Maybe I'm a victim of recency bias and can't get that ugly Georgia Southern game keeping us from an undefeated season out of my mind, but I just dont think we hold a true edge anymore. Hoping this year proves me wrong.

GA Southern used to always be a Black Saturday game in late October (usually last weekend). Good time for that game - great attendance!!!

It hasn’t been real cold that many times in October-November the past 5-6 years. I remember a terrible game vs The Citadel about 8 years ago (?) in a cold sleet.
