Looks like On3 is being much more upfront about their reporting. One other advantage UNLV would have is that they might have a bit more NIL money to throw around since Vegas is somewhat energized from their past season's success and they're reportedly going to have one of the highest NIL budgets in the MWC/PAC 12. Arnett's probably making a move that would be getting him a fair shot at HC again, and quicker, after the tough situation at Miss St.

or at the very least P4 coordinator, Mullen is a proven commodity at the P2 level, if UNLV has a good 2025 then he's going to be on a lot of shortlists for P4 or even P2

Mr Craig, people here are throwing in the towel because Arnett’s choice is between a first time head coach in a small college town vs Dan Mullen, their shared Mississippi State connection, a brand new stadium and Las Vegas and they don’t think we stand a chance.

I’m about 95% sure that Arnett is going to UNLV. From a strictly coaching/money perspective, I would too. But until I see an official athletic account with a poorly photoshopped logo on a polo shirt, I’m not counting out anything.

I like going to California, always have a great time. Only issue is that they really don't know BBQ. I mean the tri tip taste good and I obviously eat it, but it isn't BBQ it is just grilled meat.

I like California fine to visit, I even think Los Angeles is my favorite of the big 3 between NYC and Chicago. Beautiful state with lots of great people, though to hear my brother complain (he works in TV and lives in Burbank), I would never want to live there.

And yes the BBQ is weird. I ruffled some feathers elsewhere on here saying brisket is better than pork BBQ, but if there is something Texas, Carolina, KC, and Memphis fans can all agree, it is that Cali BBQ is not BBQ.
