I have thought that as well. Some coaches are not that good, they just have better players. To be a good coach, you really need to be a great salesperson.

Myself and two others on the board (bh2oson & KiddBrewer) took a road trip to Cincinnati, while at App State, in 1988. The date was September 16, 1988, the night Tom Browning threw the first perfect game in Cincinnati Red's history. At that time, it was the 12th perfect game in MLB history. What a night it was for sure.

I told everyone I knew that he would be here only two years and would be gone. Wouldn't be surprised if he didn't end up at a P4. That sucks because I think he was the best back we had and with a good off season, we would see a different Kanye in 2025. Damn!!

I thought State was going to poach him last year. Maybe this is the year they will get him after 3 years of wanting him.

Some folks are going to lose interest when they have to learn a brand new roster every year. It is becoming like one and done in BB. Duke has a new team every year so some fans just don't get as close to the team. How would we feel about AE if he was gone his second year.

I had never been to a MLB game until about 10 years ago when the family was in DC for a vacation/church trip to see our teens sing at the National Cathedral (amazing). I happened to check the National and Oriole schedules and it worked out that the Reds were at Camden Yards! Great game, Votto jacked a homer, Reds won and Chapman hit 100+ in relief.

My first two MLB games were in 76 in Cincy ...when I was 9. I was a fan before then due to 75. They were the Big Red Machine!!

People have started comparing college football to the NFL. Imagine if every pro player had a one year contract and a third of the league entered free agency.

Not sure how good he would have been (coaches know better than I)...but I wanted to see how he would have performed at LB
