Are you tallying the scores of App State Mania's predictions and Big C in these as well? I don't see either of their scores listed or did I overlook them? It would also be interesting to take the predictions of places like Odd Sharks, CBS, etc to see how our posters do against odds makers, media, etc as a whole.

Big Cs scores are in there. I’m only tracking the predictions of those that post on this site.

Okay. I thought so but thought it would be interesting to see. I was saving the scores from a few of the handicappers to see how they do. How do you tally it again? I can't find that post where you said so. You take the difference in the margin of victory and what else? Also, if someone predicts the wrong team to win but their margin is similar how do you handle that? I would think there would be some penalty for getting the predicted winner wrong just like points added for missing the margin and actual score?
One of the handicappers had us beating Clemson by 3 at 24-21 so I was going to see how to tally that since they were close on our points but way off on the winner, margin, and Clemson score.

Feel free to tack what you like. It’s pretty time consuming which is why AWS was giving it up.

I can't find the post where you explained it. Can you say the formula one more time? Margin of difference and total points difference. Did he add any for picking the wrong team?

Copied from the other thread:
"Points are calculated based on margin and total. Using my prediction for example. I predicted 38-17. That’s a 21 point margin and 55 total. The actual difference was 28 (38-10) so I was off by 7. The actual total was 48 so I was off again by 7. That is a total of 14. There is no +/-. Everything is value oriented.
