Do it every year so here it is...

1. ETSU - Win
2. @Clemson - Loss
3. @ECU - Win
4. S Alabama - Win
5. Liberty - Win
6. @Marshal - Loss
7. @Louisiana - Win
8. Georgia St - Win
9. ODU - Win
10. @Coastal - Win
11. James Madison - Win
12. @ Georgia Southern - Win

Thats a 10-2 season. We could lose at Libery and win at Marshal...I just haven't seen what I need to see to feel confident about this team having the heart and toughness to win every road conference game. I hope I'm wrong.

I think we figure things out against ETSU, look good at times against Clemson, see it start to come together at ECU then hit our stride against S Alabama. If we can hang tough through Lib/Mar/UL we can get it right for the CCU/JMU/GSU run to the end.

We have tough stretches gapped with breathers and the only double away stretch at Marshall/UL which will be tough...if we get through that we control our destiny.

Its gonna be a fun one this year.
My 4 cents adjusted for inflation,

Road games will be where we can stub our toes. Can we figure out the Coastal conundrum? I think we've had better teams in a couple of recent losses to them. GaSouthern has a history for messing up our season
Georgia Southern believes the same about us.
Every year and every team is different. Just curious what you see that says the team doesn’t show heart and toughness. Seems a bit hard to gauge in June. Again just curious about that not being argumentative.

I really want to say 10 wins in the regular season, but can't commit to that without knowing more about our OL situation. I will have to revisit this after fall camp when we will hopefully know a bit more about all the new faces and how they look in our system. We got a lot of seemingly very talented players, just also very inexperienced. I really think the success of the team will depend on our OL this season. If we can protect Joey so he has time to makes his reads and get the playmakers the ball AND also give our RBs lanes to run, well then we will have a big season.
I just hope Joey can find some throwing lanes over, around and between all that beef on the line. We haven’t had 6’7” and 6’8” dudes across the line since…..well ever.
That's been an area of interest for me as well. Big guys up front.

I know way too much has been said about coaches style and approach but do you guys think that if he could do it any way he would want to run the ball way more than pass (I mean WAY more) and maul our opponents with beef up front?

I don't bet on ASU, but if I did I would take the over.

Miami at 9.5 - I'd take the under given their coach's propensity to crap the bed with his in game decisions

Every coach would.
It makes the passing game so much easier as D would move a player or two closer to line of scrimmage to stop the run

Did last year and it got me a win.
Did again this year, so we'll see.

9.5 - Clemson wil start the season 0-1 vs. UGA, not much room left for error or upset when they lose to APP too.

DL should be better than last year as long as one of the DT transfers can produce as hoped. OL is more of a question, but I think we have enough promising guys in place to at least be steady to start the year and improving from there.

Taking the under on Miami is prudent. Regardless of the coach and the talent on the field, the Canes have a penchant for lighting themselves on fire as the season progresses.

Sort of like the Tarheels.
