Re: SBC Championship Game at Troy discussion
Disappointing day for sure. We have always been small up front but our speed covered for it. That's not working anymore. Other defenses seem to know what we are going to run almost every play. That needs to change. Our defense needs an overhaul. They played great the last half of the season but they are getting exposed today.
Congrats to the boys and coaches for a great turnaround this year. After that 3-4 start I really thought we would end up 5-7 or at best 6-6.

I can't blame him, he stepped up in the pocket and is expecting protection. It wasn't there today.

Troy is just a better team this year than we are.

Pretty sure Samuel has been beat on about every down tonight. He’s just getting smoked out there. I believe that one was on him.

They have better players, just a better team. They dominated the trenches. We look bad upfront. Credit them. Summral took over a program in decline. They are championship quality. We are not.

ok, now it is really embarrassing. 5 tds for their Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year running back. Guess he proved that he deserved that award today.

Yes. It may sound crazy, but it's possible you aren't the leading expert in coaching or football strategy on this random internet message board. The "elitist" attitude of some posters has gotten stale.

Wasn't Joey's fault tonight. Their lines dominated our lines and we weren't calling the right plays to counter any of it. Vidal had his way with our defense. They took advantage of their 6'4" reciver and we didn't. Refs weren't going to give us a hand. Just is what it is.

Re: SBC Championship Game at Troy discussion
Man, watching Troy play really makes me wish we had a go to running back that we can ride for a season. We have not done that since Clark has been our head coach for whatever reason. I think we need to get back to that ideal.

Re: SBC Championship Game at Troy discussion
What worries me is seeing the same stuff we saw early on in the year on the biggest stage. Clark has earned another year, but the seat is still warm for he, Ponce and Sloan.
