Trying to handicap us is hard, but I would say that game will open app +14.

You guys have so many knee jerk reactions. They do look good, but of their 5 FBS wins, this is the first one that was more than a 1 score game.

So realistically, it might be years before we win a championship. The Sunbelt has gotten better and we haven't.

Well. The good thing about the portal is that nothing is “years” out now.

Yeah, Clark kills the portal. Come on. We are even in the top HALF of the FBS anymore.

Well now I didn’t say Clark would be the one doing the recruiting.

When Dougie Boy stands up in a Head Coaches meeting back in 2022 and says "we may have bit off more than we can chew with JMU, Marshall and ODU coming in."

All you need to know.

Budgets and Academics better and easier than the IVY league of the High Country.

What happened to App State pounding a teams weakness until the score was out of reach???
When we stopped having a decent defense
This is exactly why. Our defenses in the past were what kept us in games and then the offense could feed. It’s hard to watch honestly.

Dougie Boy's mistake was hiring Clark, then extending him.

Winning 9 games, Bowl Game

Winning 10 games and bowl appearance

6-6 rebuild year and Texas AM win

Those aren't mistakes dude... This is only decision I will back Dougie on -- go find the interview list from Parker Search firm and tell me who he coulda hired while only paying 600-700k in 2020.

Like DB coaches make more at P%'s than #TeamClark made in 2020.

my brother in law spent 8/9 years in Boone during the 90's and only came out with one degree, how'd you get 2????

One of the things I do like about this message board, read others and you will see what I mean, most every poster regardless of their posts, proofread their posts before they post. I believe that speaks to the world class top notch educational experience Appalachian State University and Appalachian State Teacher's College offers.

It very may have started at that point, but there was some kids that didn't want to "risk' their pro day chances and quit on the "give my all nonsense saying"..... go back and check the stats of the players that decided to take some plays off.

oh yeah and wasn't that WKU QB on the Patriots roster????

Above average coach at the current moment, and I did give my brother law poop about his one degree in 8.5 years, so you are better than him.

We've won three games this year. GW isn't a particularly good FCS team (in spite of what we were told). ECU is awful. Monroe has wins against Army and Lamar.

Touche' -- But Patriots organization is better than Ravens so there's that Armanti was better than whoever lost the game to WKU, Zac or ACC reject Chase (By the way Chase was so overrated) when you can't play at Duke, you shouldn't be able to play for Appy.
