This is only a surprise to those who.stuck their heads in the sand for last 2 seasons. As I said over and over this past week, you can't keep playing games like this and expecting to win. Those "close wins" against bad teams were losses. Those "close losses" to bad teams were huge losses. We need to control football games and we've struggled to do that consistently under Clark. Losing to a bad Coastal team at home is perhaps the final nail for me.

I hate what our program has become. We are a losing program. 6-12 in our last 18 fbs games. And a bunch of loser old fans who say "the sun belt is tough". Everything that was built since 2005 is dead. It wont be back for a long time if ever. Its done.

I mean that’s a bit dramatic. Get a young, dynamic coach in place and it will be turned around quickly.

The biggest mistake that could be made if a new coach is hired is to continue the path of having to have an “App guy” for fear that an outsider will leave in a few years if he is successful. I’ve previously said, if you are a successful G5 program, you are always going to get your HC poached. That isn’t a bad thing.
