This game is NOT on Joey. We called the game to keep it close playing the game WYO wanted us to play.

Defense played their best game of the season minus one play.

The timeout usage showed a lack of attention to detail down the stretch.

Brutal loss.

Well... that was disappointing. Not sure I understand the lack of going for it on 4th a couple times. This one hurts extremely bad.

All of our goals are still in front of us!
This is true. I just really don’t see Clark’s learning curve progression. So while I agree, goals are still in front of us, that’s only as good as Clark’s ability to learn and lead.
It appears this comment was in jest…Clark will surely say this soon.

Learn???? If I took this long to learn and have any progression in my profession I'd have been fired long ago. Only reason he isn't, is the money. So we are stuck.

Shouldn't the ball have been placed at the 2 yard line?
Not in college
I've seen pass interference in the end zone be placed at the 2 yard line many of times in college. 1 yard line in NFL
Then they did it wrong. It's always been a 15 yard penalty..
I just looked into it more...the 2 yard line thing occurs only when the play occurred at or inside the 17 yard line, which wasn't the case here.

If Joey doesn’t throw there, we are looking at a sack. The likelihood of getting back to the line, spiking it, and having time left for another play (field goal try) is slim to none. Can pick on Joey all you want, but it comes down to conservative play calling throughout the game. Usage of timeouts in 2nd half was questionable too.

Not sure our goals are in front of us. JMU looks really good, Marshall too. Very doubtful we win the conference or even division. Secondary goal is to make a bowl game and by my guess, we needed this o e to ensure that. So no they might not be.

This is infuriating. We’ve had numerous changes with the staff. One constant.

That was a gift .The early drive field goals set us up for failure. And we delivered. A wasted effort.

What’s not to understand? It’s who this staff is. Zero killer instinct

Definitely got the sarcasm but there is truth to this statement and after a brutal loss like this, I’m trying to vent while also keeping some small amount of perspective.

I wanted to believe this staff turned the corner. But just like in Cahpel Hill, playing not to lose will usually end up one way......with a loss. Got to have that dog. Coach Moore had it just like the Oregon Coach today- make statements and pound teams into the ground. Don't give a current or a future opponent hope. Wyoming had hope before and during the game when they did nothing to deserve it.

Joey did not look like a smart QB tonight. Maybe an off night....maybe showing why isn't playing elsewhere. When you have a coach like Clark, it's hard to tell if it's the QB or the coach. I feel bad for the Defense.

We played conservatively all night expecting their offense to be better and our defense to be worse. That kept them in the game and we lost.

The shots in the end zone were bold, but ended up biting us. Very disappointing.
The conservative play was warranted based on how good our defense was a playing- at least early in the first 3 quarters..

red zone offense must get better. 4 FG's and a Defensive TD -- The offense must score TD's!!!!!!!

Neers beat the Neers. Outcoached. No aggressive playcalling, especially in the last drive. I wish we used the plethora of receivers we have more. For the love of Yosef, get rid of that backwards pass. Run some option.

Apologies, I meant to turn my sarcasm font on. To put it plainly, we will hear this mantra in a press conference pretty soon.
