Everybody is entitled to an opinion, but I completely disagree. "Good enough" is only one component of sports. Intangibles are a huge part of football. I'm sure the "chip on your shoulder" is an attitude that drives the intensity of practices and overall motivation. How can motivation NOT be part of football? It's the glue that makes it all work. Of course, that's just MY opinion.
