Anyone Traveled to ULM?

Unread post by ASUGrad2014 » Fri Feb 24, 2023 4:00 pm

Trying to decide between the Wyoming or ULM game. Have figured out logistics for the Wyoming game, but wanted to get thoughts from people who have traveled there.

Thanks!🥃

Definitely Wyoming if it's between those two. I've never been to Wyoming, but it can't be worse than Monroe. Monroe is a shit hole. And their campus is even worse.

Went to ULM. Ate at Catfish Charlie's and would definitely go back just to eat there again.

Their fans were very cordial. Unless it's changed they have a large tailgate RV area behind one end zone. Everyone we passed walking in invited us to join them.

Gotta be Montana, if for no other reason than we have never played out there and doubtfully will again.

A long plane ride followed by a long car ride up to Laramie?
Or the unique chance to explore the myriad delights of hot, humid, bug-infested Monroe, LA?

Tough decision.

Do to the altitude in Laramie it takes a fraction of adult beverages to feel it. I have never been to ULM, but I am sure it is nice too. The sign in Kidd Brewer, "Welcome to 3333," War Memorial Stadium, "Welcome to 7220." You can fly into Laramie and no humidity.

We are planning on making the trip. Never been to Wyoming & looking forward to it. Same 3 of us went to Texas A&M last year, so hope we have another enjoyable trip.

While you were at the Texas A&M game I was at the game in Laramie. It was unbelievable to see that score on the scoreboard.
