We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: Schedule tweet
Heard a couple other fans from other Sunbelt schools say the 2 out of division conference opponents had been leaked. This could be accurate.

Re: Schedule tweet
That mini Ga. Bulldog team is going to be a pretty good test out of the gate. Tre Lamb is getting some good recruits into GWebb lately.

Re: Schedule tweet
If Gardner Webb is a good test than next season could be even worse than this year was. Here's to hoping you're incorrect and we blow them out of the water. Not sure I can handle anything less than that.

Re: Schedule tweet
Let me reframe that message then. After a 6-6 showing, we should know what the year is going to look like pretty quickly after playing GWebb. And if I'm incorrect, it wouldn't be the first or last time for sure.

Re: Schedule tweet
GW appears to be a decent opponent. Lost to CCU by 4, lost to Liberty by 1...but did lose to Marshall by 21....they played a couple of G5 opponents pretty close.
App. St. prepare like a champion and go 1-0 week 1.
Overall, this may be one of our most difficult OOC schedules overall even though no big name like A&M, Clemson, etc....GW is a decent FCS team.. Wyoming went to a bowl game last year and we play them away. ECU beat CCU pretty handily in bowl. and UNC will be decent with Maye in 2nd year...

I believe that there is a concerted effort to limit the mid week home games to one per team.

Re: Schedule tweet
The longer we navigate through the world/art of FBS scheduling the more I can appreciate the occassional opponent on the schedule that may not be the strongest but can provide value, i.e. GW. I don't want a schedule full of weak FCS, or even two for that matter, but after last season it is clear that a slight break can help us develop as a team. One example is Carolina had a practice game prior to our game and we didn't. I would have liked to have had that game on our schedule. Now our SOW in conference is stronger that ever so these type games can help us be a better team.

Re: Schedule tweet
How does everyone feel about having Marsha and Stink on the same home/away split every year? While it’s fun to have both in Boone in the same year, it sure makes the other seasons with both on the road (like lat year) tough.

Re: Schedule tweet
We never got a legit bye week last year which sucked. Other schools (JMU) were benefited with two bye weeks before their biggest games.

I believe that JMU’s two bye weeks were a by-product of an 11 game schedule. The timing was fortuitous.ASUFan4863 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 05, 2023 10:17 amWe never got a legit bye week last year which sucked. Other schools (JMU) were benefited with two bye weeks before their biggest games.

First thought: Great home schedule! Second thought: With those great home matchups, you know we are likely looking for at LEAST 1 home weeknight game...

Re: Schedule tweet
With our side of the conference being so strong, I could live with these two being on the same rotation, but would love it if Coastal wasn't in the mix as well on that same rotation. Thank goodness JMU is on the other rotation. Ideally it would be turd/coastal at home and JMU/stink on the road as the rotation. Just one guys opinion.AppStateNews wrote: ↑Thu Jan 05, 2023 11:09 amI don't like it but DG does.GSUwasGump’sFallbackSchool wrote: ↑Thu Jan 05, 2023 10:10 amHow does everyone feel about having Marsha and Stink on the same home/away split every year?
